Today I got my first glimpse of how much food we are going to go through. At lunch I took out a new loaf of bread, 22 slices and made PB&J for 3 little boys. My 2 year old ate 2. Tonight for dinner we were lazy so I asked Jason to make some tuna fish sandwiches, salad and fruit. I had one sandwich, Jason had one and again we feed the little boys. So how is is that we finished off the new loaf of bread and 4 cans of Tuna? Now maybe that doesn't sound like much but the boys are only 6, 4, and 2. On the weekends when daddy makes pancakes we have to make a double batch. I use at least 6 eggs for scrambled eggs and they each eat an 6oz cup of yogurt or applesauce.
Soooo, anyone who wants to contribute to the Feed the Higley boys fund please send you checks to our house c/o me, or if you know of anyone who has a farm and wants summer workers in exchange for a whole cow please let me know. Once they hit the teens I think I will have to farm them out:). Good thing they are cute. Hey, maybe they can find some nice girls to be friends and eat at their homes.
